Title of Artifact: Observation - Science Standard: Standard 2: Human Growth and Development -Teachers shall understand how children develop and learn in a variety of school, family, and community contexts and provide opportunities that support their intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. I am placing this observation within Standard Two Human Growth and Development as evidence of continued mastery. This artifact is an example of an educators understanding of how children develop and learn in a variety of school, family and community contexts. As an educator I plan to support the development of all students (Department of Education, 2014).
