Lemonade Stall Version 1 - 4
Goal:
The winner is the player with the most money at the end of Sunday.
Components:
The game is comprised of the following components:
1x game board (includes scoring track, game reference charts, time track and sales table)
2x weather condition markers for rainy, cloudy and sunny conditions
2x weather temperature markers for 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 degrees Celsius
4x Individual player mats. The mats indicate costs to buy items of stock. The top section of
the mat allows players to keep track of how many cups, sugar serves, lemons and ice
serves they own (by placing resource tokens onto the various items)
3x maximum sales reference charts (for 2, 3 and 4 players) to indicate the maximum
amount of sales each round based on the weather condition and temperature
7x player benefit cards
18x event cards
4x sets of selling price cards (from $3 through to $8) in 4 different colours
4x sets of cup sold tokens in 4 different colours
1x first player marker
4x Scoring track markers (to be placed on the scoring track) of 4 different colours
Additional required components (to assist in play). Not able to be printed out.

A 12-sided dice (two 6 sided dice can be used to substitute for a 12-sided dice. If you have
say a blue and a red dice roll both dice. If the blue dice is between 1 and 3 take the value
of the red dice as the value of the roll. If the value of the blue dice is between 4 and 6 add
6 to the value of the red dice to determine the value of the roll. Do NOT add the value of
the two dice as this is NOT equivalent to a 12-sided dice).
A 6-sided dice.
If you arent able to procure the above additional components the following optional components can
be used (except for the dice):
1x player stock sheets to keep track of the amount of stock that you currently have (only
required if you dont have resource tokens). 1 sheet required per person per game.
12x item tokens (used for placing onto benefits cards that arent chosen each round. Only
required if you dont have resource tokens).
Game Setup:
Each player chooses a colour and places their scoring track marker on the $20 space of the Scoring
Track. Each player should take a player mat and a set of selling price cards and cup sold tokens of
the same colour as their scoring track marker. Resource tokens should be within easy reach of all
players. The person who last drank lemonade is the starting player and takes the starting player
marker. The relevant maximum sales chart should be placed onto the game board and the benefit
cards should be placed in a central location. The weather for Monday is cloudy and 25 degrees. A
cloudy and 25 degrees token should be placed underneath Monday on the time track. Weather
condition markers, temperature markers, event cards and the dice should be laid near the game
board. The game is ready to begin.
In a 2-player game the Petty Theft benefit card should be returned to the box as it is not used in a 2player game.
Description
Roll for tomorrows forecast (not required on day 7 - Sunday) by rolling a 12sided dice twice and checking against the game summary card. The first roll
is for the weather condition (rain, cloudy, sunny) and the second roll is for
temperature (15, 20, 25, 30 or 35 degrees). For example a roll of 7 and 3
would result in a sunny day and 20 degrees. The relevant weather condition
and temperature markers should be placed under tomorrows day on the time
track.

Benefit
The start player chooses a benefit card (and any resource tokens that are on
the card, refer step 3). The resources can be placed on any of the players
playing mat spaces (cups, sugar, lemons or ice). Other players take benefit
cards in clockwise order. If someone takes the early bird benefit card they
also take the start player marker after Step 5.

Event
A single resource token is placed on each benefit card that was not taken.
Turn over the top event card. Resolve the text displayed on the card. The
card should remain visible for the remainder of the round.

Purchase
Supplies
Starting with the first player, the players take turns to purchase stock and
move their counter backwards along the scoring track based on the amount of
stock purchasd and take resource tokens and place them on the appropriate
sections of their player mats. The cost to buy items is shown on the player
mats (no more than 10 of any type of stock can be purchased).

Set Prices
Players simultaneously set their selling price by playing one of their selling
price cards.

Change
A check is made for any change in the weather based on the information at
the base of the event card (refer the Event Cards section of the additional
rules for an example of this).

Spoilage
All remaining ice melts (unless a player has taken the hire fridge benefit
card). A roll should be made to see if lemons spoil by rolling a 6-sided dice
and referring to the weather temperature marker for the current day. If the die
roll is equal to or above the number shown in brackets on the current days
weather temperature marker all remaining lemons should be removed from
each players playing mat (unless the player has taken the hire fridge benefit
card).

End of Turn
If no one has taken the early bird benefit card the first player marker moves to
the player to the left of the current first player. The weather tokens for the day
can be removed from the time track. All benefit cards should be placed next
to the cards that werent chosen during that round.

Game End
The game ends after the 7th day (Sunday). The player with the most money wins. In the event of a
tie, the player with the most stock remaining is the winner. If there is still a tie, the player closest (in a
clockwise direction) to the start player is the winner.
Additional Rules
Event Cards
The text on an event card should be resolved as soon as it is turned over (Step 4). In some
instances it will impact on the game later in the round.
The bottom of each event card also has some letters and/or numbers indicating potential changes
between the forecast and the actual weather for the day. It will typically involve rolling one or two 6sided dice.
A C refers to the weather condition either improving by one increment (C+) or getting worse (a C-).
For example C+ (5+) will mean that the weather condition will improve (from rain to cloudy or cloudy
to sunny) if a 5 or more is rolled on the 6 sided dice. A C+ cannot change the weather condition if it
is already sunny and a C- cannot change the weather condition if it is already raining.
A number at the bottom of the card refers to a potential change in the actual temperature. It can
range from -10 (10 degrees cooler) up to +10 (10 degrees warmer). For example -5 (3+) -10 (5+)
means that the actual temperature will decrease by 5 degrees if a 3 or 4 is rolled or by 10 degrees if a
5 or more is rolled on the 6 sided dice. The temperature cannot drop below a minimum of 15 degrees
or rise above a maximum of 35 degrees.
The temperature change checks are made during step 7 of each round.

Detailed Description
During step 7 the check for any change in weather should be made twice.
Each cup sold this round sells for $1 more than the price shown on each
players price selling card.
Each cup sold this round sells for $1 less than the price shown on each
players price selling card.
At the end of step 8 half of any cups (rounded down) that are still
remaining on peoples player mats are returned to the supply.
During step 9 all remaining lemons will spoil on a roll of 3 or higher
regarless of the actual temperature (unless a player has taken the hire
fridge benefit card).
No event this round.
Each player can only purchase a maximum of 9 items during step 5. This
can be split across the various goods. For example you could purchase 5
cups, 2 lemons and 2 serves of ice.
Starting with the starting player each player must pass 3 goods to their left
(or as many goods as are on their player mat if they have less than 3 in
total). They can be of different types. You cannot pass on goods that you
just received.
Each player immediately receives 5 lemons from the supply which they
place onto their player mat.
Each player must immediately return 3 units of sugar to the supply (if they
have that much).
The maximum sales limit for the day is increased by 1 cup multiplied by the
total number of players (e.g. in a 4 player game if the weather ends up
being cloudy and 25 degrees the maximum sales limit is increased from 11
cups to 15 cups).
Each player should take 4 goods from the supply (can be of different types)
and place them onto their player mat.

Detailed Description
Ice only melts during step 9 if the temperature remains at 30 or 35 degrees
after step 7.
The minimum guarantee of being able to sell 1 cup in cloudy weather and
2 cups in sunny weather (after step 7) is not in place this round.
There is a high likelihood that the weather will become worse during step
7.
There is a high likelihood that the weather will improve during step 7.
There is no discount for purchasing items in bulk. For example, if you buy
10 cups it will cost you $10 (rather than $8).
During step 3 an additional resource token is placed onto each role that
wasnt chosen.

Detailed Description
You must take the first player token and become the first player after the
purchase of goods during this round.
After the purchase of items in Step 5 you may rearrange goods on your
player mat at a ratio of 1 to 1.
You obtain an extra $2 for each cup of lemonade that you sell this round up
to a maximum of 3 cups or $6.
You must immediately spend $1 to take 10 items of your choice. They must
be 10 of the same item and are placed onto your player mat.
As soon as you take this card you should take 4 goods of one type. You
may choose to ignore to the effects of the event card that is revealed in
Step 4. The event immunity card does not give the player immunity to the
strange weather or cold snap cards (should the weather become worse)
or the stock balance card.
All ice and lemons left over at the end of the day are still able to remain on
your player mat into the next day.
This role card should only be used in the 3 and 4 player games. The player
is able to steal up to 3 goods (can be of different types) and $1 from another
player of their choice. The type of goods stolen cant change. For example
if the player steals 3 cups the player must place the 3 goods onto the cup
section of their player mat.

event card should it come into play. In a 4 player game this card may push the upper limit to beyond
the highest value in the sales track. Players will need to make note of this should it occur by placing
a die off to the side of the sales chart. The die can be used to show how many additional cups can
be sold. For example if the limit was 22 cups the die could be placed with the number 4 next to the
sales track). Each player should look at how many cups of lemonade they could potentially sell
(determined by what goods they have the least of). The player should then place that many cup sold
tokens onto their selling price card. However players cannot sell any lemonade for more than $6 in
rainy weather or $7 during cloudy weather. This is noted at the corner of the weather condition
markers. For example if a player has chosen to sell their lemonade for $8 and the weather ends up
being cloudy they can not sell any lemonade and therefore cannot place any cup sold tokens onto
their selling price cards.
Players should now refer to the maximum sales charts (as shown on page 7 of the rules) which will
have been placed onto the main gaming board. If the amount on the matrix is higher than the total
amount of tokens on the players selling price cards all players can place their cup sold tokens onto
the sales table on the game board. If there is too much lemonade for sale the cheapest lemonade
gets sold first except that there is a guaranteed minimum amount a player can sell during cloudy and
sunny weather (the guaranteed minimum amount is shown in brackets on the maximum sales charts
and is 1 cup in cloudy weather and 2 cups in sunny weather). Any lemonade sold in this manner
should be placed onto the sales table on the game board using the cup sold tokens.
If two or more players are selling the lemonade at the same price players place an equal amount of
cup sold tokens onto the sales table. If the maximum sales limit would be exceeded the additional
lemonade is sold by the person(s) closest to the person with the first player marker (including the first
player).
For example in a four player game on a sunny day and 25 degrees the maximum sales are 15 cups.
The start player (player 1) has enough stock to sell 6 cups and has set their price at $5, player 2 has
enough stock to sell 4 cups at $6, while players 3 and 4 have enough stock to sell 3 cups and have
chosen a selling price of $7. As the weather is sunny all players are able to place 2 of their cup sold
tokens onto the sales table (bringing the total number of cups sold to 8). Player 1 (the start player) is
able to sell their remaining 4 cups (as their price is the cheapest) and places 4 additional cup sold
tokens onto the sales chart (bringing the total cups sold to 12). Players 2 is then able to sell their 2
remaining additional cups as their asking price is the next cheapest (bringing the total amount to 14
cups). Player 3 is able to sell a final cup as they are closer to the start player than player 4 which
brings to total amount of cups sold for the round to 15 cups (the maximum sales limit based on the
actual weather). While player 4 has enough stock to sell 3 cups of lemonade the sales limit has been
reached so they only get to sell 2 cups. Therefore player 1 receives $30 (6 cups at $5), player 2
receives $24 (4 cups at $6), player 3 $21 (3 cups at $7) and player 4 $14 (2 cups at $7).
Miscellaneous Rules.
You must sell cups of lemonade if you are able to do so provided it doesnt exceed the
maximum sales limit.
To be able to sell 1 cup of lemonade you need 1 cup, 1 serve of sugar, 1 lemon and 1
serve of ice. The maximum amount of cups that you can produce in a day is limited by
what you have the least of. If for example you have 10 cups, 8 serves of sugar, 4 lemons
and 3 serves of ice you will only be able to produce a maximum of 3 cups of lemonade,
regardless of the maximum sale limits.
You can place any stock that has accumulated onto role cards onto any of your supply
spaces (cups, sugar, lemons or ice).
The lemon spoilage check is made during Step 9 (after lemonade has been sold). The 6sided dice should be rolled once. If the number is equal to or above the number shown
within the current days temperature marker all remaining lemons are ruined (except if
someone has taken the hire fridge benefit card). The matrix is shown on Page 9 of the
rules which summarises the information on the individual temperature markers. For

example if the temperature was 25 degrees (regardless of the weather condition) all
remaining lemons will spoil if the roll on the 6-sided dice is a 5 or more.
Maximum Sales Charts
These charts shown below indicate the maximum amount of sales that as a group the players can
make each day based on the actual weather conditions (numbers in brackets indicate guaranteed
minimum number of cups that can be sold) for 2, 3 and 4-player games. The relevant chart should be
placed onto the maximum sales chart space of the game board.
For example in a 3-player game with actual weather conditions of sunny and 30 degrees the
maximum sales limit is 12 cups. Each player is guaranteed a minimum of 2 sales.

During Step 7 a check for any potential weather changes is made. The numbers and letters shown at
the bottom of the event cards are described in the two tables shown below and only occur if the
number rolled (on a 6-sided dice) was equal to or higher than the number shown (in brackets) on the
card.
If for example the weather is cloudy and 25 degrees and the event card has C+ (5+) / -5 (4+) and the
rolls are 5 and 3 the actual weather will become sunny (a 5 or more was rolled so the weather
improved by one level) and will remain at 25 degrees (as the roll of 3 was less than the 4 that would
have been required for the weather to become cooler by 5 degrees).
The following chart summarises the chances of lemon spoilage during Step 9 when the check is
made (by rolling a 6-sided dice). The check is only dependent on the actual temperature (the
weather condition is ignored). The information is also shown on each temperature marker.
If for example the temperature for the day was 25 degrees all remaining lemons will spoil if the roll is
a 5 or more (unless a player has taken the hire fridge benefit card).
