VLADISLAV PETKOVI DIS

Moda spava
Zaboravio sam jutros pesmu jednu ja,
Pesmu jednu u snu to sam svu noc sluao:
Da je ujem uzalud sam danas kuao,
Kao da je pesma bila srea moja sva.
Zaboravio sam jutros pesmu jednu ja.
U snu svome nisam znao za budjenja mo,
I da zemlji treba sunca, jutra i zore;
Da u danu gube zvezde bele odore;
Ni arije, ni sveg drugog, sto ja noas snih;
Ne seam se nieg vie, ni oiju tih.
Ali slutim, a slutiti jo znam.
Ja sad slutim za te oi, da su ba one,
to me udno po ivotu vode i gone:
U snu dou, da me vide, ta li radim sam.
Ali slutim, a slutiti jo jedino znam.
Da me vide dou oi, i ja vidim tad
I te oi, i tu ljubav, i taj put sree;
Njene oi, njeno lice, njeno prolee
U snu vidim, ali ne znam, to ne vidim sad.
Da me vide, dou oi, i ja vidim tad.
Njenu glavu s
I njen pogled
to me gleda,
to mi brino
Njenu glavu s

krunom kose i u kosi cvet,

to me gleda kao iz cvea,
to mi kaze, da me osea,
prua odmor i nenosti svet,
krunom kose i u kosi cvet.

Ja sad nemam svoju dragu, i njen ne znam glas;

Ne znam mesto na kom ivi ili poiva;
Ne znam zato nju i san mi java pokriva;
Moda spava, i grob tuno neguje joj stas.
Ja sad nemam svoju dragu, i njen ne znam glas.
Moda spava sa oima izvan svakog zla,
Izvan stvari, iluzija, izvan ivota,

I s njom spava, nevidjena, njena lepota;

Moda ivi i doi e posle ovog sna.
Moda spava sa oima izvan svakog zla.

She May Be Sleeping

I forgot this morning a certain song sound,
The song I was listening to the entire night:
I tried today to no avail to hear its chant,
As if the song was all happiness I found.
I forgot this morning a certain song sound.
In my dream I wasnt aware of waking up might,
And that earth needs the sun, morning, dawn;
That during the day stars lose a white gown;
And the pale moon moves to a dead night.
In my dream I wasnt aware of waking up might.
Now I can barely know that I had a dream,
And in it someones eyes, someones sky,
A face, dont know whose, maybe of a fry,
An old song, old stars, an old day gleam,
Now I can barely know that I had a dream.
I recall nothing now, not even the eyes beam:
As if the entire dream was made of spume,
Or that those eyes were my detached pneum.
The song or anything from last nights dream,
I recall nothing now, not even the eyes beam.
But I sense as to sense is the only thing I still know.
I sense about those eyes that they are the ones,
That oddly in my life guide me and chase me:
They come to my dream to see what I do alone,
But I sense as to sense is the only thing I still know.
The eyes come to see me and I see and feel
Those eyes, love and the happiness way;
Her eyes, her face, her blossoming May.
In dream I see, but dont know why not for real
The eyes come to see me and I see and feel.
Her head with a hair crown and a flower in the hair,
And her gaze that watches me like from flowers,
That watches me, and tells me of her fondness,
And offers me a tender rest and the world of care,
Her head with a hair crown and a flower in the hair.
I have no my beloved now and dont know her voice;
Dont know the place where she rests or resides;
And dont know why her and the dream reality hides;
She may be sleeping, and a grave sadly cares for her corpse.

I have no my beloved now and dont know her voice.

She may be sleeping with eyes beyond all evil realm,
Beyond the things, illusions, beyond the reality,
And with her there sleeps, unseen, her beauty;
She may be living and will come after this dream,
She may be sleeping with eyes beyond all evil realm.
