Dear Mr. Luttrell:
I am writing you in hopes of interviewing for a substitute teaching position at Festus
School District, since I completed all 13 years of my pre-college schooling there, and
would now like to start a new chapter of my life there as well.
The position seems to fit very well with my education and experience. I have already
received a high school diploma, an Associates degree, and I am about to receive my
Bachelors degree in business. I have run my own small lawn care business over the
past few years. This has allowed me to get experience in managing a small business,
handle the finances and money of the business, deal with the customers, manage time
and tasks effectively, and problem solve. I am also good with technology and I know
how to perform many tasks well on a computer.
I am interested in the position for a couple reasons. First, it works perfectly with my
schedule. I go to school at night so a part-time day job like this works great for me.
Secondly, I liked the district when I was going there, and Id like to be part of it again.
Finally, I like learning things, and I would enjoy helping others learn as well.
