MA10207 Analysis 1A
(all-year)

Analysis (Modular Mathematics Series) (Paperback)

by Ekkehard Kopp
Publisher: A Butterworth-Heinemann Title (30 Aug 1996)
ISBN-10: 0340645962
ISBN-13: 978-0340645963
M. Spivak: Calculus; W. A. Benjamin, London (1992) 513.03
SPI
M. Spivak: The hitchhiker's guide to calculus; Polished Pebble
Press, Houston (1995) 513.03 SPI
The two books by Spivak are great --- the first is a
comprehensive text on Calculus that presents the concepts very
clearly (the book is very well edited also) and contains useful
exercises; the second is a small booklet that presents the concepts
in a more colloquial way and can give you a good overview of
the material.
C. Clark: The theoretical side of calculus; Robert E. Krieger,
Huntington (1978) 513.03 CLA
This is a more condensed text but, I think, it makes good reading.
At the end there is a chapter leading gently into multi variable
calculus.
