Pick a reading material they want to read and explain to them to write down key terms.

Students will read the story and as they go, right down key terms or important facts of the story or
Instructional Plan:
1. Choose a story to read
2. Pass out sticky notes to students
3. Explain to students what a doodle or sketch is
4. Explain to the students to doodle or sketch of what they read and stick it on the page.

IV. Conclusion:
At the end of the reading, students turn back to the first page they read. Ask the students to retell
the story to another student. They will compare their stories and tell what they have learned. Then have
the students tell the main events, solutions, and key facts they learned.
