Generalization is an accurate statement that considers a wide body of evidence to draw


conclusions about the topic. It is well supported by relevant and convincing evidence.
Thorough and conceptual understanding of the past is evident.
Generalization is an accurate statement that considers some evidence to draw
conclusions about the topic. It is somewhat supported y the relevant evidence but may
have missed significant aspects of the content. Understanding that may or may not
indicate conceptual understanding of the past is evident.
Generalization has misconceptions and is not strongly supported by the evidence.
Irrelevant or insufficient evidence is provided that give minimal support to the response.
Understanding of the past is limited.
Response is wholly wrong or missing.
