Standard: Standard 2: Human Growth and Development -Teachers shall understand how
children develop and learn in a variety of school, family, and community contexts and
provide opportunities that support their intellectual, social, emotional and physical
development.
I am placing this observation within Standard Two Human Growth and Development as
evidence of continued mastery. This artifact is an highlights of an educators ability to
provide opportunities that support students intellectual, social emotional and physical
development (Department of Education, 2014).
