1. What requirements must you meet in order to study abroad? (i.e. GPA, etc.)
with studying abroad your GPA must at least be a 2.7. you also have to pick out
what classes you want to take while you are studying abroad , must at least be a
standing sophomore and have to have approval from the office of international
programs .
2. What are the three (3) different types of study abroad programs available to
students?
The 3 different study abroad programs available for students are Study Abroad,
Academic Enrichment Programs, and Other Educational Opportunities Abroad.
3. What are the deadlines for applying for study abroad?
The deadline for applying for studying abroad are Spring: October 14
Summer: March 15 and Fall: March 15
4. What are three different ways that you can raise money to fund your trip?
Loans form the bank , funraisers , and scholarships
5. Name two (2) scholarships that can fund you for your trip and how you meet the
requirements?
One of the 2 scholarships that can fund the trip are BENJAMIN A. GILMAN
INTERNATIONAL
SCHOLARSHIP and the FREEMAN ASIA SCHOLARSHIP.
6. Where would you like to travel to for your study abroad experience and why?
If I go study abroad I would like to go to France because I would love to visit
somewhere I never visited before and see how other people live .
7. Does NC A&T offer this as an option? If not, then what would be your second choice
destination?
