1. What requirements must you meet in order to study abroad? (i.e. GPA, etc.)
Students can study abroad as a Sophomore, junior or during the first semester of
their senior year. GPA must be 2.75 for semester programs and a 2.5 for summer
programs
2. What are the three (3) different types of study abroad programs available to
students?
AIFS CIEE and ISEP
3. What are the deadlines for applying for study abroad?
For spring 2017 Aug 15th and for fall Jan 15
4. What are three different ways that you can raise money to fund your trip?
Students can use financial aid along with grants and scholarships
5. Name two (2) scholarships that can fund you for your trip and how you meet the
requirements?
OIP Travel Grant and Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships
6. Where would you like to travel to for your study abroad experience and why?
Some Spanish speaking country do not really have a preference on where because
I want to minor in Spanish.
7. Does A&T offer this as an option? If not, then what would be your second choice
destination?
