Reflection:
There are many different reasons why I agree with this issue. There are different
advantages in Distant learning but at the same time there are many different
disadvantages too. The first online class that I took was A tefl certification class
where I was getting certified to teach abroad. Since I was my first experience with
having an online class I was confused at first but I found it to be conivent but also
complicated at times. It was very reliable with my time, and we always had
classwork due at the end of the week. The only thing that I didnt really like was
that lack of face- to -face time with the teacher. I would have to wait for the teacher
to email me back instead of asking a teacher fast in a classroom.
I will use this research in my future career in many ways. I am not planning to
have online classes, but I want to include it in my course outline in case I am sick
one day or cant go to class for a couple of days. I want to teach early education,
but I also want to teach esl in a college in another country so I can apply this to
then. If I ever do plan to do distant teaching I want to make sure all students
understand before they start their first assignment. I will also understand that
there are a lot of differences so I cant treat it like a normal class.
