Labour income share in Gross Value Added (GVA)
Labour share in GVA is the total compensation of employees given as a percent of gross value added (a measure of total output), both provided in nominal terms. Total compensation refers to the total remuneration, in cash or in kind, payable by an enterprise to an employee in return for work done by the latter during the accounting period.
