To whom it may concern:

I am pleased to recommend Ms. Tess Graettinger to you for employment as a new
graduate registered nurse. I am a Clinical Nursing Instructor in the Baccalaureate
Nursing Program at the University of Arizona and I was one of Ms. Graettingers
clinical instructors during her high acuity rotation in both the Medical Surgical Units
and Critical Care Units at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona.
During this rotation, Ms. Graettinger provided excellent care for the patients and
their families. She also did an exceptional job of integrating theory into practice
therefore enhancing her ability to become a great nurse.
Ms. Graettinger is hard-working and conscientious and her strengths include the
ability to critically analyze problems, and present a possible solution. She has
demonstrated the delivery of compassionate, competent nursing care to critically ill
patients and their families almost independently. In addition, she eagerly accepts
challenging situations and is self-directed. Ms. Graettinger quickly acquires new
skills and once mastered, she is self-motivated to learn more. She fully accepts the
responsibility of advocating on behalf of patients and their families. Ms. Graettinger
has displayed a remarkable ability to communicate effectively with patients, their
families, and other healthcare staff that she has come in contact with during her
clinical rotation.
I support Ms. Graettingers application for employment as a nurse in her area of
interest, as I believe she will make significant contributions to the nursing
profession. She is a bright, knowledgeable student who is willing to work hard to
meet her goals. She accepts nothing less than the best she can possibly do for
others on a regular basis. She has proven to be very mature, a team player and
supportive of others. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions
regarding her qualifications.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Spinks
