Cycle: The Movie

During these lesson students will be able to
identify animals and classify them into what
they think are suitable habitats. From the
habitat students will then cite the process of
which animals grow, eat, reproduce and die.
Illustrating a food chain of their own students
will identify predator from prey. Students will
work in groups to complete assigned parts of
the group project.

Learning objectives
Students will grasp the concept and

Materials
pencils, storage device, computer
Procedure
1. Teacher will place student in groups of 34 (if class size is suitable)
Student #1: will gather photos of food
cycles in different habitats.
Student #2: will read and write facts to
support the photos gathered by student
#1.
Student #3: will organize and create the
slide in the movie will be created
If there is a student #4, they will re-read
and check to make sure everything is
working and going smoothly. Student #4
will also assist students 1-3 in
completing their share of the work.
2. After students have gathered have and
photos the will start to use movie maker
(with assistance from teacher)
3. Student #4 will start to insert pictures
and add captions, teacher will help
insert sound and animations into each
group movie.
