To Whom it May Concern,
I respectfully ask that you DENY PAROLE to Offender RASPANTE, CARL, State ID#
05329816, TDCJ# 00797853. This inmate is responsible for the Attempted Capital
Murder of Joan Malone in 1997.
Joan Malone was a real estate agent in the Dallas area. Carl Raspante sought her
assistance in viewing several residential properties for sale. While visiting a
property in Coppell TX, Raspante physically attacked Joan Malone, beating her and
stabbing her. Raspante robbed Malone of her valuables and left her for dead in the
residence as he drove away in Malones personal vehicle. Jan Malone dragged
herself across the residence to a phone to call 911 for assistance with a broken back
and as she bled profusely. Joan Malone suffered serious injuries and a long recovery
from her attack.
As a concerned citizen and in the interest and public safety, I again respectfully ask
that you DENY PAROLE to Offender RASPANTE, CARL, State ID# 05329816, TDCJ#
00797853. Justice demands that he be made to spend every remaining day of his
FULL SENTENCE in prison.
