The document provides a TPACK template for a 3rd grade visual arts lesson. Students will use an online resource called "The Artist's Toolkit" to learn about color, space, and balance through animated demonstrations. They can then complete interactive activities to test their understanding and create their own art incorporating the techniques. For the lesson activity, students will draw a picture applying what they learned and label where each element was used. The technology being integrated is The Artist's Toolkit website.

Students will go to The Artists Toolkit.
From there, they will choose the Explore the Toolkit tab on the lefthand side. They should watch the animated demonstrations for -Color -Space -Balance After each demo there is a find and create tab at the top. Students can click on the find tab to do a little activity to test their knowledge on what they just learned and click the create tab make their own images utilizing the information in the demonstrations. The activity I chose for them to do after is to draw a photo of whatever they would like, and have them incorporate all of the basics of art they just learned about into their picture. They must then label where they used it. *I know that this is supposed to be for an online class but my thought was, if this is the 3rd grade, chances are they aren't in a typical online class. They would probably be homebound which means I could still get their picture in some way, therefore I feel like having them draw is still appropriate
