The inaugural season of the Atlanta International Dance Festival (AIDF) will celebrate its opening with a gala event on Thursday, December 1st at 7pm at the Taylor Lobby of the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. The gala will include a cocktail reception, video preview of the festival, and a performance by the Kibbutz Dance Company. Speeches will be given by Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and chairs of the Georgia Council for the Arts and Fulton County Arts Council about the importance of AIDF in cultivating arts education and awareness in the Atlanta community.

Atlanta International Dance Festival Celebrates Inaugural Season
What: The inaugural season of the Atlanta International Dance Festival will celebrate its opening with a gala for donors, participating artists, leaders in arts education, and city officials. Tickets to the event are also available with a fiftydollar donation to AIDF. The evening will include a cocktail reception with hors doeurves, a video preview of the festival, and a short performance from the Kibbutz Dance Company.
