Z / M Relationship

With the correct reflector type and the correct reflector mask, the OMD-41 can be field commissioned
to operate from less than 1 meter to a distance of 16.5 meters.
Z / M is the ratio of light measured using the internal zero value divided by the clear stack value.
Allowable range is 90% to 160%.
If the Z / M is less than 90%, the adjustment cycle will abort.
This indicates that the Reflector Mask hole is larger than needed.
A Reflector Mask with a smaller diameter hole is required.
If the Z / M is greater than 160%, the adjustment cycle will abort.
This indicates that the Reflector Mask hole is smaller than needed.
A Reflector Mask with a larger diameter hole is required.
