HANDING OVER NOTE

JOB DESCRIPTION AT THE MOMENT

Worked on a team to implement Oracle HCM Modules (Oracle SelfService, Oracle Performance Management and Oracle Learning
Management) for SSNIT
Liaise between clients and technical persons to work on Oracle HCM
Application development
Test Application to make sure it is working as expected
Define User Login Credentials and Supervisors for Staff on Application
Assign Roles and Responsibilities to Staff on Application
Document clients issues with regards to Application and help find
solutions to them
Prepare User manuals for clients
Train Staff on usage of Oracle Self-Service, Oracle Performance
Management and Oracle Learning Management
Write Reports and Take notes for records during meetings with client

CURRENT PROJECT I AM WORKING ON


Currently working on the SSNIT HCM Project which involves the
implementation of Self Service Human Resource, Oracle Learning
Management and Oracle Performance Management. The implementation was
done by Robert with the help of Evans and I. We also undertook End User
Training for the entire staff of SSNIT on how to use the Application.
As part of the implementation process, SSNIT requested for some
recruitment customization to be done for them. Robert is yet to complete
work on that.
At the moment we are on the support phase of the project. However, there
are some pending issues with regards to the application that are being
worked on. This is being done by Venkat with the help of Evans and I. He
fixes the issues in the EBSDEV, the development instance and then we do
the testing after which he moves them onto the EBSPROD, the production
instance.
As part of the list sent to Venkat to be worked on, issues pertaining to
Absence Management and Personal Information were quite critical.
I also support staff from the SSNIT Human Resource Development (HRD) and
Human Resource Management (HRM) on issues related to Learning
Management, Self Service and Performance Management. I keep an issue log

on which I log whatever issues brought to my attention. Evans and I assist


them in solving the not so technical ones but forward the technical ones
through the Operations Manager/Project Manager (Sammy Pokoo), the
Assistant Project Management (Lois Tetteh) or the HCM lead Mary Sarfo for
them to be solved.
SSNIT STAFF WE CORDINATE WITH ON THE PROJECT
In resolving any issue that come up on the application, we work hand in hand
with some of the staff of SSNIT that have also been placed on the project
from the SSNIT side.
First of all, we have Mr. Richard Nunoo, who is the Project Manager from the
SSNIT side. We liaise with him on any issue at all that comes up. Fred Annan,
a staff of HRM is the one who usually work with when it has to do with Self
Service related issues. We coordinate with Stanley Botchway of HRD, when
the issue has to do with Learning Management and then with Cleopas
Akpeloo of HRM when it has to do with Performance Management.
