The effect of energy input on the flotation rate is strongly dependen ton
mineral type, particle size, bubble size and collector dosage.
Flotation rates for the sulphide minerals is more higher than the oxide
minerals.
Flotation rates generally increase with increasing particle size,
decreasing bubble size and increasing collector dosage.
Increasing energy input generally leads to an increase in the flotation
rate for finer particles.
