CALENDAR OF EVENTS

Every student comes first as we celebrate learning.

Staff In-Service Day:

There will be no school tomorrow Friday, March 6. The staff will be attending the Statewide
Special Education Conference at the Grand Plaza hotel in Grand Rapids.
Setting the Table and Table Manners:
We have begun a new table manners lesson that will occur every week on Tuesdays. We
have students prepare the sack lunches so that we can do a family style kind of lunch. The
students get the table clean and then set the table. This week we worked on four particular
manners; waiting until everyone was ready to eat, saying please and thank you, passing
dishes to each other, and using a napkin to clean your face.

FOTA Shirt Reminder

Your student has a chance to purchase a FOTA shirt. The theme this year is County Fair. If
your student is interested in purchasing a FOTA t-shirt and has not returned the form and
money, please do so. The t-shirt order form and money are due March 20. Please let me
know if you need another form. Thanks!

you thought there was a final "s" on "saving"; far more people Google the incorrect
phrase than the correct one.

Archery
Today we went to Long Range Archery everyone had a chance to participate in archery. We were instructed how to
correctly hold a bow, how far back to pull it, and had paper targets to aim at. It was a blast!
