The comparison to cancer is pretty much accurate though. Cancer is a group of cells that have lost their ability to undergo
apoptosis and will divide expotentially until they run out of resources to feed their increasing numbers. Moreover they lose
their previous functionality. FBI's funding since 1940's has sixtupled. The official numbers of their employees and
operatives remain undisclosed, but based solely on their funding you can take a wild guess that for every operative retired
they hire and train two or more. They keep draining funds from the federal budget and have became a tumour that only
grows and is unable to maintain it's primodial functionality. Clinton's case shows it the best.

Gambling laws are a good example of this. They can smash your shit in if they ever feel the need to. What is legal with
many operations is just based on what the FBI is currently cracking down on. They over legislate to create legal grey
areas that they can selectively enforce to exert control in areas they want to regulate.

I am pretty sure he will as well, but during the reform I hope literally world history is un-redacted. If revelations and
Judgment cometh one of the conflicts of interest will be redacted information. People will say, you have to have secret
societies and trust the premise of good leadership, however, one great thing should perhaps be considered. A lot of
wreckage happened under bad leadership. Personal responsibility is paramount and I am very familiar with the idea free
market etc. But excess goes in all kinds of directions. The establishment is likely to CTR on good agreeable terms with
solid leadership.
Basing it off Nature is wild. Literally the entire light is needed for cultivation. But we all know you simply cannot over
cultivate things that grow unless you take a back seat for awhile to think about all of the dirt strewn around. AJAX is a
good way to clean up.
Anybody will do it for free if they feel good about themselves. But a fool will swing wildly until the entire forest has fallen.
People need to understand that merit does and will win in the end.
The communists and the people who abuse children, same thing right(?), love to talk about reform and re-education.
Maybe education reform should be taught in buildings made of salt.

Personally, I'd keep it. Just beef up your OPSEC- Remove all backdoors by going open source
software/firmware/hardware, spoof your MAC every time you connect, try to use ethernet only and pull out any
bluetooth/wifi capable hardware, don't let anyone access your internet (that means don't give out your wifi password to
anyone since they might be carrying malware unbeknownst to them and you), encrypt everything you possibly can and
save everything to a different and offline computer. If you want to go the extra mile, break your phone Or take out the
battery when you don't use it and throw it in a makeshift faraday cage. This is enemy of the state tier, so if you're just
torrenting and shitposting, don't bother.
They'll find a way to get into your shit if they want to, but you still have the power to make it incredibly difficult for them and
catch them in the act if you're really fucking paranoid perceptive. It's stressful though, so there's your warning.

It's so broad that it could even cover simply using a dynamic IP, which happens automatically for the vast majority of
Internet users. Since the courts have already ruled that an IP address does not equal a person's identity, the FBI could
twist this to justify hacking any dynamic IP they want because it "anonymizes" the user.

Hacking is already defined as a crime. It is framed(from this wording) to say that illegal and forced entry will be legal
against a subset of citizens. It's a clever way of saying we can subvert federal, state and local laws regarding cyber policy
provided you are on this list. The funny thing is that it creates a dog and tail paradigm. Networks are almost never
sandboxed so you could say oh well this person used x technology we are allowed to hack them, well by proxy anyone
who accesses/has accessed that hardware is now open to the same wording considering pulling them in(even though not
on the list) would be considered part of the 'hack'. It's pretty nefarious even without taking into consideration that you
could just spoof someones traffic to fall under their criteria or even have the criteria encompass technologies that are
outside the individual users control, such as Dynamic IP Addressing(which is handled by the ISP's).

Also I want to point out that this type of wording fucks with businesses/corporations the most. Would this also encompass
employees that are required to VPN into their work subnets? Would this encompass servers that are required to send
encrypted traffic to one another in order to validate credentials and set up secure tunneling? The whole thing seems rife
for abuse. Not just to individual citizens or even businesses but also to other state actors. Think gov. contractors that are
required to use VPN's in order to communicate with government servers.

Exactly right. You're dealing with paranoid control freakery. If they have a blind spot they just project suspicions onto it
and immediately set about burrowing their snout in to see what's going on. If you've been posting on /pol/ before VPN'ing
yourself, then it's likely too late to avoid being on some sort of list. Google works closely with the CIA and quite apart from
its own search engine and youtube traffic, hoovers up data with Google Analytics - which is embedded in almost every
website you visit. At this point if you want to be both unknown and unnoticed you might as well access the internet from a
public library in the next city. Even then there's probably a camera on you.

>who spoon fed them a picture of the world framed in a way to support their institutional agendas
Pretty much one of the things wrong in any system where the leader is the layman in the room. And when it comes to
elected representatives, they're inclined to legally exempt themselves from surveillance measures whenever possible
(maybe naive, since given the state of things they're likely being spied on), so they can always feel at the back of their
minds that this is something that really just affects other people anyway.
One of the main dilemmas with surveillance is there's no such thing as too much. You have millions of people in a modern
society. Any one is a hypothetical terrorist or would-be terrorist who you wouldn't have detected if you weren't shoving
your eyes and ears in absolutely everywhere and filtering through absolutely everybody's details. Each one caught
provides a case used to justify the entire system. Meanwhile abuses of it proliferate.

If you search cryptome, you will find an excerpt from General Michael Hayden's book Playing to the edge where he
apparently concedes that the sogenannte intelligence community underestimated the antipathy of the German people to
being spied on, no doubt on account of one of the most mendacious programs of surveillance in history, that of the DDR,
being still fresh in their collective memory.
Also of note, on cryptome, are supposed communiques of FBI agents deeply concerned, perhaps even demoralized, by
the techniques employed by the CIA in various theatres.

I frequently find that various computers that I use can get banned (not always as a result of my usage) and then
unbanned, seemingly at random. This is probably because my ISPs are designed to reassign IPs in a manner Hotwheels
didn't know about when he designed the ban system or updated M00t's old ban system.

Obama but to a lesser extent Bush jr. opened up the powers of the executive branch to make these rules, whether
unconstitutional or not that was to be figured out by the supreme court.
So it might be bad but once Trump is in it won't matter, or idk maybe he'll use it on Muslims in the US for instance, Obama

There are 0 count them 0 viable wholes in AES 256 that are exploitable in the lab or in the wild unless a very unlikely set
of circumstances occurs on improperly configured hardware.
Almost all Banking in the world is done with some level of AES. If the cat was out of the bag on AES or RSA as an
encryption standard the internet would literally come to a halt overnight. Nothing anywhere could be trusted instantly.
Trying to cover up an exploit to AES would be like trying to hide information from the public that the sky had turned green.
Everyone would figure it out whether you wanted them to or not.

were encrypting something in AES because it'd see that instruction and know that's its only use.

>[B] If citizen takes any/all measures to anonymize herself, then the citizen has protected her own rights
Proposed:
>[A] If citizen does not anonymize herself, then it is (still) illegal for investigators to access the computer of the citizen (but
they can still do it anyway). Then:
>[a1] If evidence is found, it is unwarranted and is therefore on grounds for dismissal
>[a2] If evidence is not found, the citizen is acquitted
>[a3] Evidence planted by investigators is also dismissed because there are no grounds for the search
>[a4] Assessments regarding the psychology and character of the accused are dismissed because they use material that
has been acquired illegally.
The above situation [A] being the same as it was prior to proposed changes. Is that right?
>[B] if citizen makes any/all efforts to self-anonymize, then accessing the computer is deemed reasonable and warranted.
Then:
(Note here that with the citizen's computer, the investigators have access to a wide set of information and can use it to
build any number of arguments which will be championed by experts regarding the "psychology" and "character" of the
accused.)
>[b1] If evidence is found, citizen is most likely convicted.
>[b2] If evidence is not found, a case cannot be made to back up the original charges.
Moreover, anyone can plant indications of other crimes when they have access to your computer.
>[b3] If evidence is found but is insubstantial, anyone with access to the computer may plant false evidence that
strengthen the case for the original charge, or indicium that supports invoking a new charge and/or set of charges against
the citizen
At this point, if the citizen wants to contest the accusations against them:
>[b3 i] must claim the that the case against them is using false evidence;
>[b3 ii] must have grounds to make that accusation;
>[b3 iii] citizen requires her own investigators to prove his claims;
>[b3 iv] citizen requires her own experts to refute arguments regarding her psychology/character;
>[b3 v] citizen requires a fucktonne of money for legal fees.
It would be extremely difficult for the citizen to prove malpractice on the investigators' parts because the computer was
likely seized prior to the citizen discovering the false evidence. Whether evidence of the original charge(s) is found or not,
a case is made regarding the psychology and character of the accused, which can be used to request mandatory
counseling/therapy/government programs. You need to be rich or well-connected to be free in a worst-case scenario
where the world really is headed into oblivion. Is this a correct understanding of the reasoning behind the situation? It's a
very aggressive move against privacy and dramatically shifts the power towards the DOJ.
It can't actually be "if you've got nothing to hide then why are you isolating yourself? Why would you even dream that
anyone would plant evidence against you, guy? You aren't anti-government, are you? After seeing the contents of your
computer [mind] we are deeply concerned. A 30 year old man who pirates Indonseian praxinoscope handiworks from
other 40 year old men? You're a virgin? You aren't a Russian spy, are you? I see that you play video games. These are
very violent. Hmm."
"Consider all these valid arguments, Your Honor, for justice."

most malware doesn't even bother encrypting. it's all about stealth, not being unbreakable. state of the art traffic analysis
methods focus on patterns. if you know what to look for, you can identify covert channels. the backdoors in intel chips
aren't actually very stealthy and can be identified when used. the thing is that nobody bothers looking because most don't
believe it's an actual backdoor that can be triggered remotely.

I've said it since forever. Intelligence agencies are ALREADY doing this.
This is an age where privacy and anonymity are essentially non-existent. Even your TV spies on you. For basic bitch
dissidence, you're best served hiding in the crowd: (((they))) have limited resources and more important targets than you.
And honestly, everybody's a fucking dissident nowadays.
If you're REALLY doing stuff which requires you to be untraceable, then you do it by hopping in your (older, GPS- and
blackbox-free) car, driving to a carpark next to a public access wifi point (being mindful of cameras), and connecting using
either a hacked/modded laptop or a purpose-made kit computer.

>because that won't raise any suspicion

>Get a fucking scrap laptop

>Find a friends home that's close to a starbucks/Mc-D/ busy place
>login with some fake ('spoofed') MAC address
