Subject: Final Project Proposal

This proposal is to go further in depth of the topic picked for our final group project.

Below are the headings to be expanded upon:

1. Purpose: To investigate if teleworking provides more productivity or not. We would

also like to address the types of people that teleworking works for and if its for everyone
or anyone at all.
2. Feasability: I think a solution can be found to further the effectiveness of teleworking
like:
-Certain inefficiencies need to be addressed.
-Platforms for better communication need to be put in place.
-Guidelines for communication.
Studies show the inefficiencies and that teleworking is something new that still needs
developing.
3. Audience: The initial audience here is my professor. The audience who will be affected
by the research are CEOs of companies, occupations higher up in the corporate ladder of
a company, and company researchers. The audience can benefit by making an educated
decision on whether they want to keep their teleworking system in place for their
employees or simply take it away. These companies can also benefit from knowing if
teleworking would be a good fit for the company and if it is effective. This in turn can
produce better quality work from employees in the company and potentially increase
profits.
4. Topics to investigate: Discussion will be made around certain topics.

-Cost of transport and real estate may help companies financially if they decided their
employees telework.
-Stats on business productivity and effectiveness.
-Will the pros outweigh the cons of teleworking?
These will be discussed so our audience can determine if they should have their
employees telework or not.
5. Methods: We will get the answers to the questions from peer reviewed articles studies
and articles that monitored companies who are currently using teleworking and/or have
tried it.

6. Qualifications: My team is qualified to write this report because we have research
experience allowing us to get our information from credible sources. We already have
sources listed down. We also already have background knowledge from a previous
assignment. We will go to the library for help or even to our professor.
