Title of Artifact: Philosophy Statement
Standard: Standard: Standard Ten: Professional Development - Teachers shall participate as
active, responsible members of the professional community, engaging in a wide range of
reflective practices, pursuing opportunities to grow professionally and establishing collegial
relationships to enhance the teaching and learning process.
I am placing my Philosophy Statement under Standard Ten, Professional Development as
evidence of continued mastery. This artifact was placed under standard ten because it continues
to show from my educational autobiography how I am changing to become a better educator, and
how I will still continue to grow individually as an educator as long as there is something to learn
and become better at.
