The Reflection of Five Tips for Multimedia


The article Five Tips for Successful Student Multimedia Projects wrote
by Student Multimedia Studio (SMS), which designed to give faculty with
multimedia assignment suggestions. The article is about general ideas that
teachers have to know to create projects or presentation. The five tips are
starting with Pedagogy, not with Technology, try it yourself, do not assume
that your students know how to create a multimedia project from start to
finish without help. Also, try to make use of readily available freeware, MS
Office and i-Tools as well as web 2.0 resources and contact the student

In the first tip, I think, it is important for teachers to focus on
teaching/learning objectives first and try to find useful tools because not all
tools fit with two or more lesson. Every lesson teachers can meet with tools
that help to make the lessons easy for students.
The second tip is very important for successful teachers. It means the
teacher should try the project before publishing to students. In this way, a
teacher will make sure that project will open with students.

The third tip is essential for teachers who give their students
multimedia projects. Most students know the basics, but very few have the
advanced knowledge, so teachers should work together with their students
to accomplish the work successfully. This helping will build their confidence
and give them more motives to be more creative.
The fourth tip, I think, should offer all different tools that students
maybe need it for their projects such as digital voice recorders, camcorders,
and scanners. Also, a teacher should give students different options for tools,
so it will give students more freedom to work.
Fifth tip, asking Student Multimedia Studio (SMS) is the best way to find
good helping. Also, by Student Multimedia Studio (SMS) offer different kind
of resources that will help teachers.
In short, the article induces the reader to visit the SMS website for
useful information. The five tips will give a teacher the big idea of using
multimedia projects.
