NELSON MANDELA

SPEECH
Nelson MANDELA was born on 18.7.1918 in
Transke in South Africa .He was in prison
from 1962 - 1990.
He spent 27 years in prison for trying to
overthrow the pro- oparthied government
.After he left the prison he worked to
achieve human rights and a better future for
every one in South Africa .He was the first
black president of South Africa from 1994
1999.
He has received prestigious and
international awards like Nobble peace prize
Bhart, Ratna and Gandhi peace prize etc .As
a president he was respected for his
courage and wisdom in bringing people
together to live in peace .He died in 5th
December 2013 following a lung infection.
