My grandma makes the best bratwursts. You need a special bun from the
store. These buns are usually three inches longer than a normal hotdog bun and
have the same quality and texture. What really makes it the best though is the
sauerkraut. I dont really know how it is made but I do know you dont need any
special tools in the kitchen to make it. My grandma sometimes makes the dish but
more often than not she doesnt make it or isnt prepared. This dish is special
because it is a piece of our family history.
