THE CHESIRE CAT

every now and then comes back to me

the memory of that fateful night
i remember crying out his name
but my heed would he not hear ever again...
for he lay there still willing to protect doubtful not till the bitter end he
never thought that it was trust alone that blinded him and
reaped his life left him perished blind...
i recall the boy with his hands of blood
hold his scissors firm as he leeched the life of the miserable cat
penetrated his skull shove out both his eyes did he and leave him all but
blind
for the cat alone still wore his grin
and with bloodshot eyes hooked only on me
showing trust to the one who stood unwilling , doubtful, ran away to
protect himself
never thought of you to your grinning smile to the bitter end saying thanks
for all
looking me in the eye
though ana eye had he not left no more
then he left me
all alone in this world only to suffer the worst from my memories
and when i gave then all away it was him who kept them just for me
to the bitter end his trust was blind but i...
i can only remember a century back in a room of sweetness with a pair of
scissors and a grinning smile...a grinning smile of trust...
