example: clean air/polluted air, high/low taxes,
safe/dangerous places, expensive/cheap house
rent, expensive/cheap shops, noisy/quiet places
etc.

Conjunction whereas
The country is quiet, whereas the city is noisy.
Whereas the country is quiet, the city is noisy.
Teacher write example of conjunction on the board.
Student have to elicit grammar from example. If
they would not elicit, teacher explain about it. After
student write on their own example using
conjunction whereas in their notebook.

Tokyo. And contrast the pictures using whereas. For
example: The city in picture A has many cars. Whereas the city
