Summer 2016
Internship
The completion of a 13 week, unpaid internship for a total of 273
hours. I was directly responsible for the observation and care of
multiple wildlife species, including opossums, deer, song birds, raptor,
rabbits and squirrels. Rabies vectors such as skunks, foxes, raccoons,
groundhogs, and bats were additional species I was able to work with
having been rabies vaccinated.
Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital, State College, PA
May 2016 Present
Kennel Assistant
A weekly schedule between 10-15 hours per week for a total
approaching 300 hours. I provide care for those pets both bordered and
visiting the hospital. Observing domestic pet behavior and physical
condition, as well as medicating and feeding, constitute the basis of
my duties among different breeds of cats and dogs.

Competitive position within the College of Agricultural Sciences, where
2 hours a week are devoted during the semester. I work alongside one
other student assistant to conduct lab preparation and procedure
