Jordan volunteered for ‘the Ceramics Department's annual fundraising dinner: Empty Bowls. Empty Bowis fundraising events have been held in North America for over 30 years, -with milions of dollars going to end hunger every year. Potters make bowls, chefs make ‘soups, and guests recelve a "poverty meal” of soup and bread, in a handmade bowd of ‘thelr choice to take home as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. All proceeds -will go to the Inn of the Good Shepherd and the Lambton College Fooc Bank. This year ‘we raised over $9000. ‘This event could not take place without the help of all ofthe volunteers.
