E-portfolio Reflection
For the Term Paper assignment I chose to write about a Chief Financial Officer. As I was
writing and completing my Term paper assignment on a Chief Financial Officer, I found that the
job wasnt exactly what I first thought it was. When I started doing this assignment I thought that
pretty much the only things a Chief Financial Officer were prepare financial statement. I found
that a chief financial officer is the one who manages all the finances of the business as well as the
plan for the company. I didnt realize that they play such a big role in the business. After I
realized that the job wasnt exactly what I thought that it was and realized that it may not be
exactly what I am interested in, I kept doing research to find more information and found the
ways that the job would work for me so I could do the things that I wanted to and not what I
dont want to do. This assignment helped me to realize the importance of finding out what
exactly the job actually is before you go through the effort and process of getting the job.
