1. Preparations for Adjustment of ABH

Clean exterior of Adjustable Bend Housing before clamping, so markings are clearly visible.
Clamp indicated areas of Adjustable Bend Housing.
Untorque right hand connection (Figure 1).

2. Directions to Adjust ABH Angle

1. Unscrew Offset Housing 2 full rotations (Figure 2).
2. Lift the Adjusting Ring to disengage teeth from the Offset Housing (Figure 3).
3. Rotate Stator Adapter Housing in the direction that achieves the desired bend in the
shortest distance (Figure 4). See Table 1 for possible ABH bend angles.
WARNING: Never rotate housing more than turn in this step.

4. If needed, clean dirt and mud off of the housing faces and apply thread anti-seize
(Figure 5).
5. Ensure the desired bend angle on the Adjusting Ring is aligned with its matching
number on the Offset Housing, then engage the teeth and torque the connection
(Figure 6). See Table 2 for make-up torques.
