Q.3. A hexagonal pyramid, base 30 mm side and axis 60 mm long, has a triangular face on the
H.P. and the axis parallel to the V.P. It is cut by a horizontal section plane which bisects the axis.
Draw the front view and sectional top view and develop the surface of the cut-pyramid. (6)
Q.4. A room is 4.8 m X4.2 m X 3.6 m high. Determine graphically the distance between a top
corner and the bottom corner diagonally opposite to it.

Q.5. A thin 30-60 degree set square has its longest edge in the VP and inclined at 30 degree to
the HP. Its surface makes an angle of 45 degree with the VP. Draw its projections.

Q.6. A square pyramid having a base with a 30 mm edge and a 50 mm long axis, rests centrally
over a hexagonal slab with a 30 mm side and 25 mm thickness. An edge of the base of the
pyramid is parallel to that of the slab which is 10 mm behind the PP. The station point is 100 mm
above the GP, 70 mm in front of the PP and lies in a CP which is 50 mm away from the axis of
the combined solid. Draw a perspective view of the combination.
