Hello Parents and Guardians:

I was pleased to have met many of you a few weeks ago at open house and would like to
introduce myself to those I did not have a chance to meet.
My name is Elisabeth Moore and I would like to introduce myself as the student teacher in
Mrs. Drumm's class! I am currently completing my final semester at Regent University. I will be
graduating in December with a degree in Early Elementary Education and be licensed to teach
PreK-6th grade. I have had a passion to teach since I was nine years old. I have been blessed to have a
variety of experiences working in Preschool, Kindergarten, and after-school care facilities. I have
also had the opportunity to observe and conduct lessons in several different elementary grades and
have gained experience teaching overseas.
Kempsville Elementary is a phenomenal school and I have been so blessed to be placed in Mrs.
Drumms class. It has been an incredible experience so far to be able to work with Mrs. Drumm at
the beginning of this school year. She is a fantastic teacher! I am very honored to be teaching under
her guidance and I am looking for ward to learning more from her.
I have recently begun to teach several small lessons in the classroom and will gradually
work up to teaching the class in its entirety before the end of my placement in mid-October. Your
students have been doing an exceptional job learning at school so far and I am so proud of them! I
am looking for ward to working with them more in the upcoming weeks. If you ever have any
questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at elismoo@mail.regent.edu.
Thank you for entrusting your students to Kempsville Elementary!
Sincerely,

Ms. Moore
