A\For thermoelectricity units, the rotor is inside the casing, welding on
the casing is not allowed, or clearance between moving and stationary
parts and valve disk will let out spark to destroy the equipments.
AGland system will be connected correctly as the requirement of the
drawings, or it will cause the thrust bearing pad burning pads
A\Check or set the control system and tachometer according to the gear
number of tachometer gear on rotor of steam turbine, or it will cause the
steam turbine over speed.
A\The carbon sealing ring on the valve lever for MSV and steam
governing valve with link lever should not be press tightly, it is allowed
for the valve lever has a little leak of steam when the turbine is working.
As the quantity of the leak steam increases, it can govern the press, if the
carbon ring is pressed tighter, the valve lever would become
un-lubrication.
A\When the steam turbine is trip off, find out the reasons and where the
problem is, restart the unit after the problem is settled.
A\When electric governs the unit, it is sure that the DEH and ETS system
becomes restore, or it would cause the non-normal starting of the unit and
destroy the equipment.
AxTest the auto main stop valve online moving every week, make sure
the agility of the MSV and safety of starting and shut-down for the unit.
A\Oil-spray test should be regularly operated every mouth for the
emergency governor in order to prevent seizing up.
AxThe unit will be warmed up, speeding, paralleled in ete. according to
requirement of starting curve, quantity of heat expansion and expansion
differential will be complied with technical requirement, and the
equipment will be destroyed without normal operation.
A\The unit mustn’t be operated with departure parameter, especially
exceeding rated parameter.
A\1! and 3° bearings for steam turbine are ellipse bearing, and oil wedge
mustn’t be scraped, or the vibration of the unity will be out of standard,
A\Pay more attention at the connection of gland system, the 1“ stage

This manual deals only with the specifications, auxiliary equipment and data on
installation of the steam turbine, while the details such as the description of the
construction of the steam turbine proper, governing and safety system, oil system,
auxiliary system and installation are stated in the Volume 2 of Installation and
Operation Manual, and the running of the steam turbine and the operation of the
electric governor in the Volume 3 of Installation and Operation Manual.
1. Scope of Application
Featuring a function of cogeneration, this steam turbine is applicable to the
communal thermal plant as well as the self-sustained power stations of such industri
as chemistry, petroleum, metallurgy, fertilizer, sugar refinery, paper mill and waste
disposal, etc.
This unit could run in condition of electric load or heat load. The electric load and the
heat load can be regulated at the same time,2-1. Main data:
