For the examination of the financial statements of the company Nombre de la compaia. As of
December 31, 2011, by our independent auditors, the company Nombre de la empresa que pide,
we are writing to you to ask you to send a report on the following matters with a cut to fecha de
corte si es preliminar o final.
1. Demands and other types of existing claims
With respect to any administrative, judicial, extrajudicial or any other matter of which you are
aware, in which nombre de la compaia, was involved as plaintiff, defendant or in any other
character. The report we requested should specify:
A) The nature of the matter;
B) Date and value of origin of the claim or claim;
C) The status of the case as of September 30, 2011 and the date of the reply you send to our
auditors;
D) an assessment of the likelihood of a favorable or unfavorable outcome and an estimate thereof,
or of the maximum and minimum amounts to which that result may be available;
E) If the amount receivable or payable had to be made before September 30, 2011.
2. Seizure actions or inhibitions
The report should specify the actions initiated or to be initiated against Michelin del Ecuador S.A.
3. Claims and other potential claims
We request to detail all the claims and other claims of possible materialization that are of your
knowledge, providing the information requested in point 1, that is, nature of the question and the
other data listed in sections b) and e).
4. Fees owed
The report must indicate the amount of the fees owed by Michelin del Ecuador S.A. To you as of
September 30, 2011 and the concept for which said fees accrued.
5. Other issues
Include other aspects that may be of interest. For example, specific information about certain
contractual obligations of Michelin of Ecuador S.A., such as guarantees of loans granted to third
parties, indemnities that we have granted and about which you are aware.
The report should include existing issues as at 30 September 2011 and during the period from that
date to the date of its response.

We request that you specifically identify the nature and reasons for any limitations that may affect
the response you submit to our auditors.
This request responds exclusively, as was expressed above, to the examination of our financial
statements. Consequently, we will greatly appreciate your cooperation to send the response as soon
as possible directly to our auditors.
Finally, we ask you to send us a copy of the reply sent by you to our auditors.
