I am currently in my first year as a Title One Intervention Teacher in the Shawano School District.

I
work at Hillcrest Primary School and service Kindergarten through Second Grade students. This is my
sixteenth year working as teacher in the Shawano School District. Prior to this year I taught First Grade for 15
years. I also taught Second Grade for one year in the Clintonville School District. I have also worked as a
paraprofessional with children with Learning Abilities classroom and I have volunteered teaching English as a
Second Language. I am certified to teach English and Theatre, grades 6-12, ELL K-6 and Elementary K-6. I
have my Masters Degree (M.S.) in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Reading and Literacy. On a
side note, I am also a proud graduate of Viterbo University (graduated December 1991). Viterbo is where I
met husband, Scott Krueger who is also a Viterbo alumnus.
I enjoy reading, biking, camping, gardening and spending time with my family. When my husband and I
squeak out a date night we love to attend plays or concerts.
I have two children, Liam and Owen. Liam is 13 years old and is currently in seventh grade at
Shawano Community Middle School. Owen is ten years old and he is in fifth grade in Olga Brener
Intermediate School in Shawano. We also have one beloved dog, Aidan and a new kitten named Ray. Both of
my boys are active in The Boy Scouts of America. As a family we love to travel, camp, watch movies and read.
We enjoy museums, hiking and biking.
I am very excited to continue my growth as a person and as a professional as I work to complete the
final steps in my 316 licensure.
