My design philosophy is
spectacle in story. The
fundamental aesthetic I bring
to all of my visual work is telling
complex story structure through
simple, beautiful images. An
image should create empathy,
intrigue, and awe. I strive to find
the functional in the
unconventional. To reciprocate
the complexity of emotion to
the simplicity of a stick figure,
and to perfectly weave
together text and visuals to
create a harmonious story.

My work is cinematic. It focuses

on disorganized characters in
an ordered world. I am most
impressed by stunning imagery
and endeavor to create design
that is as illustrative as it is
formal. I incorporate my
education of cartooning and
animation to create life in the
static image, and to convey
multifaceted themes with a
single expression. I am a person
constantly fulfilled by childish
wonder and utilize it for
dynamic imagination.
