Hello Everyone,

We learned about Advent in

Religion. In Language Arts
we practised our Daily 5
strategies and did some
Word Work activities. In
Math we learned more
about area and perimeter
with a present rolling game.
We started our Christmas
Around the World unit in
Social Studies and Language
Arts. We played
cooperative games and had
free time in Gym. We had
an Advent Prayer Service in
our Classroom.

We will be learning more

about Advent in Religion. In
Language Arts we will be
working on Daily 5 choices
and learning Christmas
traditions. In Math we will
continue with Numbers of
the Week and will start a
Gingerbread Building Project.
In Social we will keep
learning about Christmas
traditions and holidays
around the world. We will be
playing cooperative games
in Phys. Ed. and will keep
working in Art, French, and
Health!

Prayer Service: Monday Dec. 12 @ 1:10pm

Choir Performing at Legacy Lodge: Wednesday Dec. 14 @ 2:00pm
Choir Performing at City Hall: Thursday Dec. 15 @ 12:00pm
Christmas Family Festival: Thursday Dec. 22- make sure all forms
are handed back so we will know if you can attend. :)
