volunteer service, working in the early child care arena, and shadowing/interning as
a student teacher under the supervision of a cooperating teacher and supervisor.

responsible of a higher amount of children at one time.

Cougar Mover, 2014/2015: Assisted incoming freshmen with transition to


assigned dormitory
Rock the Block, 2015: Local neighborhood cleanup, and helped coordinate
small block party for community
MLK Day of Service, 2015: Local neighborhood cleanup
Labor Day of Service, 2014: Local neighborhood cleanup
Rainbow Connection Camp, 2010-2016: Acted as camp counselor for week
long overnight camp benefiting students with blood disorders and cancer
as well as their siblings.
Charity Date Auction, 2012-2015: Participated in, directed show, auditions
and practices for annual show. Helped collect toiletries and nonperishable
food donations used to bid on models for group date. All donations given to
nonprofit organizations such as Star of Hope or Target Houston.
Alternative Service Break, 2016: Volunteered for the week of spring break
to assist in free activities provided for the children of Dallas by the mayor.
Harris County Public Health Southeast Health Clinic Health Fair, 2016:
Helped with set up of stations, provided refreshments and direction to
guests, as well as disseminated important information for participants.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Model United Nations Simulation, 2016:
Assisted in providing middle and high school students with a social studies
simulation similar to that of the United Nations. Allowed teenagers to work
collaboratively and use problem solving skills to create the best possible
solution to a given issue
