readers with a decent understanding of wealth inequality in Latin America. This book
points out the growing size, and increasing vulnerability, of Latin Americas nascent
middle class. This book focuses on the reduction in poverty rates that resulted from
economic growth and a decrease in wealth inequality in between the years 2000 and
2008.
