1. INTRODUCTION
PC Ketapang Il Ltd (PCK2L) plans to develop the Bukit Tua Field, in the Ketapang Block, East Java
Bukit Tua which is primarily an oll eld but with significant associated gas, is located 35 km north of
Madura Island and 110 km northeast of Gresik at a water depth of approximately 57 m.

Figure 1.1: Bukit Tua Field Location
The Preferred Development Option is a not-normally-manned Well Head Platform (WHP) which Is tied
back to a spread-moored Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO), anchored
approximately 900 m from the WHP. The Full Well Stream (FWS) from the wells are separated into
{gas and liquid streams in the production separator on WHP. The gas and liquid are evacuated to the
FPSO via two separate single phase 16° gas and 8" liquid infield flowlines. Associated gas is
compressed and conditioned on the FPSO and exported via a 12” gas pipeline to WHP and there
onwards via a 12" gas export pipeline to the Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) in Gresik. Oil is
‘exported by tandem mooring from the FPSO whilst produced water is treated for overboard disposal.
The FPSO vessel, moorings, topsides and the flexible pipeline risers at the FPSO will be leased
FPSO-WHP interfaces shall include the flexible pipeline risers and radio telemetry link for data,
telephone and remote monitoring and control of the WHP from FPSO.
2, SCOPE
This specification covers the general requirement for the fabrication, construction and testing of piling
work for Onshore Receiving Facilly (ORF) of Bukit Tua Development Project, Ketapang PSC, East
Java, Indonesia,

6. FABRICATION
6.1 Concrete Pile
Piles shall be pre-tensioned concrete spun pile meeting the requirement of JIS A 5335, with 400mm
diameter. Concrete shall be Grade C80 in accordance with 11-BTORF-S-SPC-5001 “Specification for
Concrete Work". Sulphate resistant cement shall be used for the conerete.
Pre-stressed reinforcing steel shall be ASTM A416, ASTM Ad21, BS 5896 or equivalent. Lateral
reinforcement shall be provided with reinforcing steel meeting the requirement of SNI 07-2052-2002,
BITS 40, ASTM A615 Gr.60 or equivalent. Minimum concrete cover of the reinforcement shall be
‘50mm, Pile shall be designed to be crack-free, with allowable crack width shall be less than 0.05mm,
Pad eyes or holes should be located such that it clears hammer, cap block and to be welded in the
area to be cut-off after pile instalation is complete. Pile end shall be designed and fabricated to
connect and resist required strength.
6.2 Tolerance
Fabrication tolerances shall comply with BS EN 12794:2005 “Precast Concrete Products —
Foundation Piles’.
6.3 Inspection
All the material shall be certified by manufacturer. The certificates of each pile shall be submitted to
Company on delivery.
All the manufacture tests shall be witnessed by Company.
7. CONSTRUCTION
7.1 Handling and Storage
The method and sequence of iting, handling, transporting and storing piles shall be such that the
plies are not damaged. Only the designated lifting and support points shall be used.
During transport and storage, piles shall be placed on adequate supports located undemeath the
liting points ofthe piles. All piles within a stock shall be located in groups of same length. Packing of
Uniform thickness shall be provided between piles at the lifting points.
Engineering analysis shall be provided for all pile loading conditions during handling, liting and
storage for review and approval by Company. Pile shall not be transferred to site until the concrete
has achieved the specified characteristic stength
7.2. Pile Driving
Prior to the commencement of the work, Contractor shall submit to company for review and approval
a written statement describing the pile driving equipment, method of installation of piles, construction
procedures and quality control procedure,
Pile drivability analysis contained in Geotechnical Survey Report, PCK2L/BT/OSB/3054/002. and
Geotechnical Study Report, 402000-00113-CI-TEN-5001 shall be deemed as reference and
Contractor shall conduct definitive pile driveability analysis in consistent with proposed driving
‘equipments and methods to ensure that selected equipments will be able to drive the piles to the

* Type, weight, efficiency and stroke of ham mer
+ Pile drivability analysis report.
For this specification, pile driving uses Hydraulic Hammer. As per document 402000-001 13-Cl-
TEN-S001 Rev. C Geotechnical Study Report, the pile driving should not be within 6m of the
vibration sensitive structure, The closest distance from the pile driving point to critical equipment
(Spherical Tank at PT TPC Indoplastic) is #40m. However, vibration monitoring shall be
performed to ensure no impact to this equipment,
7.2.2 Cushions
Cushions shali be of proper shape and dimension to fit the hammer. Cushion material and
thickness shall conform to the hammer manufacturer's recommendations and shall be subject to
‘Company approval. f one solid block of hardwood is used, the grain of the block shall be parallel
to the axis of the pile. I laminated materials such as aluminium! micarta are used, the strength of
such materials shall be equal to, or greater than, hardwood, The use of wood chips, small wood
blocks, shavings, or other similar materials is not permitted. The continuous or frequent
introduction of materials to cushion the hammer blows is prohibited,
‘Arrangement of cap-blocks shall be the same as the one used for driving the test ples. Cushions
‘or cap-blocks shall be replaced as offen as necessary to keep the driving efficiency at the same
level as the value tested and Company representative shall have the right to ask Contractor to
‘change it if deemed necessary. Spare cushions shall be available on site and ready for immediate
use.
7.2.3 Leader and Trestle
At all stages during driving until incorporation in the superstructure, the pile shall be adequately
supported and restrained by means of leaders, trestles, temporary supports or other guide
arrangements to maintain position, alignment and to prevent buckling. These arrangements shall
be such that damage to the pile does not occur.
7.2.4 Location and Length of
For piling purpose, Contractor shall prepare piling plan drawing indicating the location, pile size,
length and penetration depth of the piles and submitted to Company for approval. Pile penetration
