Opening/Hook: tv clip from law and order
Objective: solve the case of the broken crayons

B will be playing a role to solve the case of the broken crayons
C while playing their roles

Instructional Input: I will explain the rules of the trial and their roles on how
to solve the case of the broken crayons.
Modeling: play a few roles as a test
Guided/Independent practice: I will show them how to play the roles and
the rules to solve the case and let them run through the roles after I
showed them how to play
Assessment: the students will have to try and figure out how to solve the
case
Closure: ask students on what they learned from the court case
Sponge: will have a word search about the branches of the government
