How countries fighting poverty could be helped

Most of the pauper nations, which confront with hunger, unemployment, lack of education and
corruption, are buried in debts which reflect /are reflected result in a catastrophic health care and
an unstructured educational system. This situation will not improve unless wealthier nations
show interest in minimizing the worldwide economic differences. Having been attended to a TV
conferment / conference, in which different solutions were discussed, I would like to analyze two
of them: developing medicines and providing training.
Firstly, most of the poor countries live in sub-human conditions because of disease. For instance,
in a thinly populated village in Africa, 95% (!) of the citizens were infected with AIDS and the
parents of the newlyborn had two choices: to let them die in anguish or to donate them
contaminated blood which could only postpone they death. Even more poignant is that in some
poor countries medical treatments are strictly forbidden considering their religion. But the the
living conditions could be better if the population were to have access to health professionals.
The evolution can only be achieved by developing medicines and sending doctors and nurses to
treat those in need.
Secondly, assistance in the field of education has the potential to broaden peoples horizons. The
developed countries can provide funds to open new schools, polytechnic institutes and vocational
schools. Furthermore, the rich governments should give students opportunities to study abroad in
prestigious institutions by providing/ offering/ granting scholarships.
Overall, I think that enhancing the distribution of/ the access to medicines is the most important
as it is pointless to educate a lethargic mind and to ask for performance from an ill person.
