enjoys hiking and nature. There is also an interest in the cuisine of the area and local
entertainment. The group is fit and participants would prefer a tour that is focused on
adventure activities.
Lifestyle: Most are university graduates who are developing or have developed careers
as professionals in banking and finance focused in the vicinity of New York, New York.
They are well established in their communities and are well-travelled. They prefer at
least one major trip every year. All are home or condo owners who live in upper class
urban neighbourhoods and have paid down most of their mortgages.
Disposable Income: As established professionals, they earn above average salaries
and are able to afford vacations that are out of the ordinary and are not the status quo.
Fitness Level: Everyone enjoys walking, hiking and are open to some strenuous
activity. They generally maintain healthy lifestyles and delight in multi-cultural cuisine.
Travel Expectations: While all sometimes travel independently to global destinations,
they look forward to the camaraderie of travelling to Canada with a small group of male
friends. Vacations are important to them. They would like the best available
accommodations and expect excellent local cuisine. They would like to visit local sights
and experience several recreational activities. All look forward to enjoying dinner
together in the evenings.

Day 2
Thrill to a full-day guided hiking tour that will set you off into the wilderness of Banff National
Park. Hike through trails of the park to witness famous lakes such as Lake Louise and Moraine
Lake with astonishing shade of turquoise and are surrounded on all sides by tall peaks. Learn
amazing facts about the area along the way and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch with a magnificent
view which you cant find in any restaurants. (B, L, D)
Day3
Be pleased and luxuriate in to Banff Town, a resort town with a lot to offer. From boutique shops
to fancy restaurants, Banff is developed not as a residential district, but as a service center for
the park that surrounds it. You might have seen photos of Lake Louise but step off the beaten
track and dive deeper into the hidden gems of the Lake Louise area so you can feel and

Day 4
Be prepared to get soaked on a thrilling guided rafting trip down on Jaspers Fraser River. This
exciting, wet and adrenaline-producing trip is for all experience levels. You will start the rafting
trip in the shadow of Mt. Robson, stopping to pull out for a short portage on land to carry your
raft around massive Rearguard Falls. Then continue down the river, filled with whitewater rapids
and swirling eddies, admiring the steep canyon walls along the way. Keep an eye out for
Canadian Rockies wildlife and seasonal spawning salmon. (B, L, D)
Day 5
Get to know the town of Jasper on a short sightseeing tour. Then take a stroll in the Maligne
Canyon where you can see waterfalls, fossils, craters and many more. Take one hour and a half
cruise on the Maligne Lakes vibrant blue waters. You will also stop at Medicine Lake, home of
many wildlife like grizzly bears and moose. You will spend some time ashore of world famous
Spirit Island and dont forget to take photographs. (B, D)
Day 6
Experience waterfalls, wildlife, fossils and more on an exciting cliff-edge walkway, Glacier
Skywalk that leads to a platform where glass is all that separates you from a 918-foot drop. It is
a perfect balance of the beautiful scenery, adventure and history. (B, D)
Day 7
Stretch your legs and snap photos at picturesque spots of downtown Calgary and learn
engaging historical background along the way. Get around the citys Stephen Avenue, Calgarys
pedestrian mall. It features shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Visit brewpubs that offer a first-rate pairing of industry experience with a strong passion for
brewing that embodies Calgarys culture. Enjoy dinner at Trolley 5 Restaurant and Brewery. (B,

Reflect on how amazing and how you enjoyed your 7 night Alberta Tour by standing and walking

Geographical features and landmarks
Alberta is a productive slice of land, one controlled by the
Rocky Mountains and the Great Plains of North America. There
are so many snow-capped mountains that form the Canadian
Rockies. The Mount Columbia that stands at 3,747m (12,294 ft.)
high is the highest point in Alberta. The Caribou Mountains can
be found in far-northern Alberta and form an elevated plateau. In
far-southeastern Alberta is where the Cypress Hills situated that
form the highest point in the middle of Rocky Mountains and
Canadas Maritime provinces. Alberta has a numerous rivers and
some of the remarkable rivers are Athabasca, Bow, Oldman,
Peace, Red Deer, and Smoky. (Canada Geography, 2016)
Climate
Alberta has a warm summers and cold winters.
Albertas temperature in summer ranges from 20 to 25
degrees Celsius that can sometimes reach up to more
than 30 degrees Celsius. The coldest months in Alberta
are January and February and temperatures ranges from
-5 to -15 degree Celsius and can drop as low as -30 to -40
degree Celsius but not for a long period of time. (Weather

Alberta is one of the three prairie provinces of Canada.
The province shares numerous physical features with the
other two provinces the Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The
Rocky Mountains shape the southern part of Albertas
western partition with British Columbia. Alberta was
named after Queen Victoria fourth daughter, Princess
Louise Caroline Alberta. Alberta is known for Canadas
largest deposits of oil and natural gas. (Alberta, 2016)
