This document provides instructions for an exercise involving drawing orthographic projections of various points and lines. It asks the reader to draw projections of 8 different points located in various positions relative to the horizontal and vertical planes. It then provides descriptions of 3 different lines and asks the reader to draw the projections of each line based on their given positions, orientations, and lengths relative to the planes. Finally, it describes a 40mm line and asks the reader to draw its projection in each of the four quadrants while specifying its orientation parallel to the vertical plane and at a 30 degree angle to the horizontal plane.

1. Draw the orthographic projections of the following points.
i. Point A, 20mm above the HP, 25mm behind the VP
ii. Point B, 25mm below the HP, 20mm behind the VP iii. Point C, 20mm below the HP, 30mm in front of the VP iv. Point D 20mm above the HP, 25mm in front of the VP v. Point E, in the HP, 25mm behind the VP vi. Point F, in the VP, 30mm above the HP vii. Point G is in V.P and 40 mm below HP viii.Point H is in H.P and 48 mm in front of VP 2. A line AB 45 mm long is perpendicular to V.P and parallel to HP. Its end A is 30 mm in front of V.P and the line is 50 mm above HP. Draw the projections of the line. 3. A line CD 30 mm long is parallel to both the planes. The line is 20 mm above HP and 10 mm in front of V.P. Draw its projection. 4. Straight line EF of 40mm length has its one end A10mm from the HP and 15mm from the VP. DRAW the projections of the line if it is parallel to the VP and inclined at 300 to the HP. Assume the line is to be located in each of the four quadrants by turn.
