Objectives:
After performing this activity, you should be able to:
1. Explain how faults generate earthquakes; and
2. Explain why not all movement along faults produces earthquakes.
Materials:
- Two small boxes
- rubber band
- paper clip
- Masking tape
Insights:
- We learned that not all movements along faults can cause an earthquake some
are just not strong to cause major damages, but we should know if we are near a
fault so that we can be prepared for the things that might happen to us during the
movements that is happening along the faults.
