SUBJECT: PORTSMOUTH MAN ARRESTED

Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini announces that his office received a call on
Tuesday December 13, 2016 from juvenile court officials who were at a local school
talking with a 13 year old female when they received information that she was possibly
having a sexual relationship with an adult male.
Sheriff Marty V. Donini stated that his detective instructed them to have the parents bring
the juvenile female to the office for a further investigation.
During this investigation detectives were able to determine that the juvenile was having a
sexual relationship with an adult male. During this investigation detectives were able to
determine that the most recent incident occurred on Friday December 9, 2016 at an
apartment located in Wheelersburg Ohio. During this investigation detectives were able
to get evidence through facebook messages and text messages that will be sent to the BCI
computer crime lab for a further investigation.
Detectives were able to locate the suspect on Tuesday December 13, 2016 at the Sunset
Lanes Bowling Alley located in Portsmouth Ohio where he was detained without incident
and later arrested.
Sheriff Marty V. Donini stated that during this investigation his detectives received
information that the suspect had taken naked pictures of himself and sent them to the
victim. Sheriff Donini stated that more charges will be presented to the Scioto County
Grand Jury on a later date after the cell phones and social media accounts have been
analyzed.
Arrested was Robbyn Myers age 19 of Portsmouth, Myers has been charged with one
count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor a felony of the 4th degree and a probation
violation through Portsmouth Municipal Court and is currently being held without bond.
Myers will appear in Portsmouth Municipal court on Wednesday December 14, 2016.

Court officials working together.
