Focus: Place Value and Fraction Concepts
1.1 The student will
a) count from 0 to 100 and write the corresponding numerals; and
b) group a collection of up to 100 objects into tens and ones and
write the corresponding numeral to develop an understanding of
place value.
Teacher will add the Adding Decimals Bases 10 block gizmo
to the class which was previous set up.
Students will open the application Gizmo and select on our
class.
Students will then be informed by teacher to open Adding
Decimals base 10 activity.
During the weeks of math activity students will work through
understanding, exploring, and questioning how to use the
ones, ten, and hundreds block.

The students will open the webpage and work through the
Gizmo Adding Base 10 that was added by the teacher to
their class.
Students will explore thru the application. Assessing the
100, 10, and 1s blocks.
Once students feel comfortable with knowing the one, tens
and hundreds place students will take the small assessment
provided by Gizmo.
